About the lock-in fee

What the lock-in fee is, when it’s charged and when it’s refunded.

When you commit to a pitch, you pay a lock-in fee up front to hold your place.

How much it is

The lock-in fee is a percentage of your commitment, with a cap set by each club. You'll see the exact amount before you pay.

When it's refunded

Pitches are all or nothing. If the pitch doesn't reach its funding goal, your lock-in fee is refunded.

The rest of your commitment

The rest, called your initial capital, is sent by wire or bank transfer when the club closes its raise.

  1. Commit to a pitch
  2. Change your commitment
