Create a pitch
Describe what you’re raising for and set your funding goal.
A pitch tells people what your club is raising money for and how much you need.
Start your pitch
- Open your club and select Pitch in the club menu.
- What are you raising for? Give your pitch a name.
- Sum it up in a sentence. You can skip this and add it later.
- Set your funding goal. Enter the goal amount, the minimum commitment and when commitments close.
- Select Create pitch.
Funding goal basics
- Goal amount: what you need to raise. Pitches are all or nothing: if you don't reach your goal, no one is charged and lock-in fees are refunded.
- Minimum commitment: the smallest amount someone can commit. It must be at least $5,000.
- Commitments close: the last day people can commit. It starts 30 days out and must be in the future.
Finish your pitch
After you create it, fill in the rest in Pitch settings, then submit it for review. See Build out your pitch.
